👔 How to Measure for Men’s Suits & Blazers

1. Chest

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under your armpits. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and snug — not tight.

2. Shoulders

Measure from the edge of one shoulder (where the shoulder meets the arm bone) straight across to the same point on the other shoulder.

3. Sleeve Length

Start at the center of your back (between shoulder blades), go over the shoulder, and down to your wrist bone. Slight bend in your elbow helps.

4. Waist

Measure around your natural waist — just above your belly button. Keep one finger between the tape and your skin for comfort.

5. Jacket Length

From the base of your neck (back side) down to the bottom of your buttocks — this is where a classic suit jacket should end.

6. Trouser Waist

Measure around where you normally wear your pants. Don’t suck in your stomach — be honest for the best fit.

7. Inseam

Measure from the top of your inner thigh (crotch seam) down to where you want the pants to end (usually just above the shoe heel).

👗 How to Measure for Women’s Suits & Blazers

1. Bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust — across the nipple line — with arms relaxed at your sides.

2. Waist

Measure the narrowest part of your torso (usually just above the belly button). Keep the tape snug but not tight.

3. Hips

Stand with feet together and measure the fullest part of your hips and seat — about 7–9 inches below your waist.

4. Torso Length (for one‑piece suits / jumpsuits)

From the top of your shoulder (near neck) down between your legs and back up to the same shoulder point. Add 2 inches for movement.

5. Sleeve Length (for women’s blazers)

Arm slightly bent. Measure from the shoulder seam point down to the wrist bone.
